New application for subsidies from PUP for micro and small entrepreneurs in specific industries

Until May 31, 2021, the call for applications for a subsidy in the amount of up to PLN 5,000, announced by the Director of the County Employment Office in Dzierżoniów, continues. PLN to cover the running costs of running a business. Micro and small companies operating in specific industries can apply for a subsidy.

Who can receive a subsidy from the Labor Fund?

The subsidy may be granted to entrepreneurs who meet all of the following conditions:

  • have the status of a micro or small entrepreneur in accordance with the definitions set out in Art. 7 sec. 1 points 1 and 2 of the Act of March 6, 2018 - Entrepreneurs' Law,
  • as of November 30, 2020, they conducted economic activity, designated according to the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD) 2007, as the type of predominant activity, one of the codes indicated in § 7 sec. 1 of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of February 26, 2021 on support for participants in business transactions affected by the COVID-19 pandemic (Journal of Laws, item 371),
  • business activity was not suspended as of November 30, 2020,
  • the income from activity obtained in the month preceding the month of submitting the application was lower by at least 40% compared to the income obtained in the previous month or in the corresponding month of the previous year or in September 2020, they did not exceed the number of obtained subsidies specified in the above-mentioned regulation.

Is the subsidy non-returnable?

The subsidy is non-returnable, provided that the entrepreneur will conduct economic activity for a period of 3 months from the date of granting the subsidy.

Can the grant be combined with other forms of support from the Anti-Crisis Shield?

The subsidy for micro-entrepreneurs and small entrepreneurs can be combined with other forms of support from public funds. Therefore, an entity that has obtained, inter alia, a loan based on art. 15zzd Act and a subsidy pursuant to Art. 15zze4 of the Act of March 2, 2020 on special solutions related to the prevention, prevention and combating of COVID-19, other infectious diseases and the crisis situations caused by them. Just keep in mind that you cannot allocate two or more types of public funding to cover the same costs.

Does the support - a subsidy from the Labor Fund for micro-entrepreneurs and small entrepreneurs - constitute state aid?

Support consisting in granting subsidies from the Labor Fund for micro-entrepreneurs and small entrepreneurs constitutes public aid aimed at remedying a serious disturbance in the economy, referred to in the Commission Communication - Temporary framework of state aid measures to support the economy in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic ( 2020 / C 91 I / 01) (Journal of Laws UE C 91I of March 20, 2020, p. 1).
The applicant attaches to the grant application a completed "Form of information provided when applying for state aid related to preventing, preventing and combating COVID-19 and its effects".

Where should I submit an application for a subsidy for micro-entrepreneurs and small entrepreneurs from the Labor Fund?

The entrepreneur submits the application for the subsidy to the poviat labor office competent for the entrepreneur's seat. The grant application may be submitted by May 31, 2021, only in electronic form via the praca.gov.pl platform.
