We are very pleased to announce that Dzierżoniów received the title of "Commune on 5!" in an independent ranking conducted for 14 years by the Warsaw School of Economics, which evaluates the investment attractiveness of communes.
In this year's edition of the ranking, 714 units were examined, of which only 53 communes received the title. From the Lower Silesian Voivodship, the group of distinguished, apart from Dzierżoniów, included Kamienna Góra, Trzebnica and Zgorzelec. In terms of voivodeships, the largest number of awarded communes is in the following voivodeships: Mazowieckie and Śląskie.
The main objective of the ranking was to assess the quality of service provided to potential investors and entrepreneurs by the offices of local government units at the commune level. The ranking of the Warsaw School of Economics is created in two stages: first, it includes those communes which, according to the Potential Investment Attractiveness for the National Economy index developed by the Enterprise Institute of the Warsaw School of Economics - PAI, have been classified as segment A or B; secondly, it evaluates the communes' websites and investor service. According to SGH researchers, these factors are crucial for investors and entrepreneurs when making decisions regarding the location of their capital investments.
The ranking is not prepared on the basis of applications and does not involve any expenses on the part of local governments.
