On September 19, the last meeting of the committee this year was held, connected with a visit to Dzierżoniów companies. This time, councilors visited the GE Aviation plant, which is one of the largest employers in the city.
During such a meeting, the committee performs its work, but thanks to the kindness of entrepreneurs, we have greater knowledge and a broader view of the needs, ongoing changes and expectations of people creating the local economy. While visiting GE Aviation, we talked a lot about the company's special approach to employees, organizational culture and what strongly distinguishes GE Aviation, i.e. the social involvement of business, for which I am very grateful to the company's representatives - says the chairman of the committee, Maciej Kiesewetter
GE Aviation is an American aviation group operating worldwide, and the production plant in Dzierżoniów is an important part of this group. It is a global component leader in the design and production of engines, commercial and military aircraft components, as well as integrated digital, electrical and mechanical aircraft systems. Since September, the plant director has been Mr. Jacek Przygoda, who previously held a similar position in another GE Aviation company.
We place great emphasis on teamwork and mutual respect. We want everyone to be aware of the goals we are striving for. We feel that our team is made up of people with passion and positive energy, which creates a nice working atmosphere. We see high and stable growth in orders from our customers for this year and in the coming years, which is why we are expanding our team. The projects we work on are innovative and certainly do not let us get bored at work, says Dorota Mohyluk, HR director at GE Aviation Dzierżoniów.
After meeting with a representative of the management board and learning about the company's specifics, the committee discussed draft resolutions prepared for Monday's session.

- environmental and nature protection;
- municipal greenery and trees;
- municipal cemeteries;
- maintenance of municipal public utility facilities and equipment as well as administrative facilities;
- spatial order, real estate management;
- municipal housing construction, housing stock, markets and market halls;
- cooperation with local and regional communities of other countries.
