Buy Locally in Dzierżoniów - the rules of the promotional campaign for entrepreneurs and the list of companies participating in the campaign | Invest Dzierżoniów

The Buy Locally campaign was created in 2021 on the initiative of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs operating at the Mayor of Dzierżoniów. It met with great interest from entrepreneurs and residents of our city. So far, 88 entrepreneurs have used this form of promotion, and posts with information about local entrepreneurs have reached several hundred thousand recipients.

The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic hit the smallest entrepreneurs first. The "Buy Locally" campaign was intended to act in solidarity to protect small businesses from closure through promotional and educational activities. Currently, in connection with the hostilities in Ukraine and the influx of refugees from that country, we also want to show support to those entrepreneurs who create jobs for Ukrainian citizens. It is also very important to perpetuate the local shopping patriotism among the inhabitants of Dzierżoniów. Therefore, we have decided to continue the Buy Locally Campaign in Dzierżoniów.
Campaign goal:

•     supporting local business by encouraging the residents of Dzierżoniów to buy products made at local producers, to buy in local stores and to use the services of local entrepreneurs,
•     free promotion of Dzierżoniów companies on the Facebook website @InvestInDzierzoniow and on the Invest in Dzierżoniów website,
•     economic education of residents - making residents aware that the money "left" in Dzierżoniów strengthens the economy of their city,
•     promoting consumer patriotism among the inhabitants.

Campaign recipients

The campaign is addressed to natural and legal persons running a business in Dzierżoniów (understood as offering goods or providing services on the market) and residents of Dzierżoniów.

Company designation - stickers and posters

Stickers to mark the company and posters informing about the campaign "Buy locally in Dzierżoniów" can be downloaded at the Promotion Office of Dzierżoniów City Hall.

How can I join the "Buy Locally in Dzierżoniów" Campaign?

By buying products and services from local entrepreneurs, we can have an impact on the situation in our environment. We strengthen the local economy and keep jobs, thanks to which we also contribute to the increase in the amount of taxes that remain in our small homeland, and thus indirectly contribute to ensuring the availability of better social services.

To support a selected entrepreneur or register your own company, all you need to do is:

•     take a photo with a local entrepreneur or in his company (max. 5 photos, preferably horizontally),
•     prepare a short information about the recommended entrepreneur or your company: company name, name and surname of the owner, company address, telephone number, assortment, website address, link to Facebook,
•     photos with descriptions should be sent to the following e-mail address: drp um [dot] dzierzoniow [dot] pl (drp[at]um[dot]dzierzoniow[dot]pl).

Photos along with information about the company will be published on Facebook @ InvestinDzierżoniów. Information about the company along with a link to its website or Facebook will be posted on the Invest in Dzierżoniów website.

The campaign participant, by sending photos with information about the recommended entrepreneur or about his company to the e-mail address: drp um [dot] dzierzoniow [dot] pl (drp[at]um[dot]dzierzoniow[dot]pl), accepts the Rules of organization and participation in the Promotional Campaign "Buy locally in Dzierżoniów", in particular the rules of using the sent photos and information about the entrepreneur and confirms reading the information clause.
