The call for applications under the “Vocational Skills Development Support Centre – Preparing Subregion Residents for Changes Related to the Transition” project will open on 26 October 2026 at 8:00 a.m. A total allocation of PLN 3 million is available to businesses. Funding for development services may cover between 50% and as much as 80% of eligible costs.
Micro, small, medium-sized and large enterprises with a registered office, branch or subsidiary in Wałbrzych County or the city of Wałbrzych, as well as enterprises from the counties of Dzierżoniów, Świdnica, Kłodzko and Ząbkowice Śląskie, are eligible to apply for funding.
Funding covers development services, particularly training and consultancy services aimed at developing green skills and green jobs, as well as upgrading or changing employees’ qualifications.
The basic funding rate is at least 50% of the cost of a development service. Depending on the eligibility criteria met, the funding rate may be increased to:
- 80% – among other cases, for enterprises operating in areas covered by the smart specialisations of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, or for services leading to the acquisition or validation of qualifications included in the Integrated Qualifications System;
- 70% – among other cases, for micro and small enterprises, services provided to employees with disabilities, or where specific conditions concerning the participation of employees over the age of 50 and employees with low qualifications are met;
- 60% – among other cases, for enterprises registered in medium-sized towns listed in the project regulations, including Bielawa, Dzierżoniów, Kłodzko, Nowa Ruda, Świdnica, Świebodzice, Wałbrzych and Ząbkowice Śląskie, as well as for certain services leading to qualifications in occupations experiencing labour shortages.
If an enterprise meets more than one criterion, the highest applicable funding rate will be used. Detailed eligibility conditions and the rules governing the application of individual funding rates are set out in the project regulations.
The maximum value of development services per employee is PLN 10,000 net, including both the funding and the beneficiary’s own contribution. If a service costs more than this amount, the funding will be calculated on the basis of PLN 10,000 net. An employee may participate in more than one development service, provided that the total amount of support does not exceed this limit.
