„Lamplighters in action Świętokrzyskie, Dolnośląskie voivodships" is an initiative for digital education of people aged 44-64 and over 65, who are the largest group of the digitally excluded. The project aims to increase the digital competences of the inhabitants of the Dolnośląskie and Świętokrzyskie voivodeships.
During the two years of the project, over 8,000 people will be entitled to free training activities in both voivodeships. The trainings are being carried out in the period October 2020 - December 2021. They are conducted by the Lighthouse Keepers of Digital Poland - specially trained trainers of digital competences. The trainees will acquire (or improve) the skills to use digital tools, contents and resources of the internet to improve the quality of life and will be able to effectively take advantage of public services available on-line. These skills are especially important in the era of the COVID-19 epidemic, when remote work becomes a common everyday routine and the ability to navigate the Internet makes life easier.
