Dzierżoniów launches a special fund to help victims of the war in Ukraine. We also organize the collection of food (dry products), water, dressings, hygiene products, chemicals. On Monday, a special account number will be launched, to which it will be possible to make payments for the purpose of helping the victims of the war in Ukraine.
The City Hall in Dzierżoniów coordinates aid for our neighbors whose country is at war with Russia. Symbolic support, flag-hanging is important, but Ukrainians need real help, which we want to offer.
We encourage entrepreneurs, but also natural persons, to donate both money and material assistance. Will be needed:
- food products (groats, pasta, bars, water),
- all kinds of hygiene products and chemicals.

Gifts can be brought from Monday to the Promotion Office of the City Hall in Dzierżoniów. Here, too, we accept declarations from the residents of Dzierżoniów, who are ready to accept Ukrainian refugees in their homes, and declarations from Dzierżoniów entrepreneurs who are ready to employ them. For families who will go to Dzierżoniów, the help will be distributed by the Social Welfare Center and OSiR (refugees will be accommodated there in the first place).

"In the coming days, we will focus on people working in our city who are trying to attract their loved ones. We can already accept sixty people, but what is important, the support will be primarily directed to people from areas affected by military operations. In addition to the most important issue at the moment, which is accommodation, the city will also provide psychological support, help with looking after children and find a job, "says Dariusz Kucharski, Mayor of Dzierżoniów.
The city also launched special telephone numbers for people from Ukraine living in Dzierżoniów. You will be able to obtain information on the support offered by residents as well as institutions and companies from Dzierżoniów.
