Dzierżoniów has been awarded the prestigious “Gmina na 5!” title for the second time in an independent ranking conducted by the Warsaw School of Economics (Szkoła Główna Handlowa – SGH). For 14 years, this ranking has assessed the quality of investor services and the investment attractiveness of local government units in Poland.
This distinction confirms the high standards of business service and the proactive efforts of the local government to support the development of the local economy. Importantly, municipalities do not apply or pay to be included in the ranking – it is entirely independent and based on research conducted by SGH experts.
The aim of the ranking is to evaluate how well municipal offices serve potential investors and entrepreneurs. Only clear and measurable criteria are used in the evaluation, ensuring the objectivity of the results.
Receiving the “Gmina na 5!” title once again reflects the consistent policy of the Dzierżoniów Municipality, which focuses on fostering entrepreneurship, openness to investment, and maintaining high-quality communication with business partners – both domestic and international.
In this year’s edition, 707 municipalities were analyzed, and 454 received the “Gmina na 5!” title – 10 more than in the previous year. The average score was 12.78 points, and the median was 10.5. The West Pomeranian Voivodeship achieved the best overall results, while four voivodeships did not have any municipalities among the awardees: Lublin, Lubusz, Opole, and Warmian-Masurian. In total, “Gmina na 5!” municipalities represented 7.6% of all entities evaluated this year.
