Since November 2019, there is the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs operating at the Mayor of Dzierżoniów, which is a voluntary advisory and opinion-making body consisting of entrepreneurs, representatives of organizations and institutions dealing with entrepreneurship and the labor market, and City Council Councilors.

The scope of the Council's activities includes, in particular, issues related to the economic development of the City, including:

• Supporting the city's economic development policy,
• Economic activation,
• Reporting the needs and problems of local entrepreneurs,
• Co-organizing events and activities aimed at the development of entrepreneurship.

Work plan of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs

The most important task of the Council in 2021 will be to support local entrepreneurs. The activities of the Council will focus on the following areas:

•         activities of entrepreneurs located in the Dzierżoniów market,
•         activities of young companies
•         activities of family businesses,
•         cooperation with large companies,
•         cooperation with the Business Environment Institution and the local government,
•         launching the Dzierżoniów - Buy Locally campaign.

Meetings of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs in 2022

• March 24, 2022 - the meeting took place at the UZWAR Ukrainian-Georgian Restaurant. The most important topics discussed during the meeting were: welcoming new members - Ms. Katarzyna Iwko and Ms. Katarzyna Kinzhybalo, information about the new redundancy program under the regional investment aid and a summary of de minimis aid for entrepreneurs, presentation of the current situation regarding refugees from Ukraine and offered to them help.
•  April 28, 2022 - the meeting took place at the ElKawa Coffee Roaster. The most important topics discussed during the meeting were: summary of the meeting on the revitalization of the Dzierżoniów City Center, summary of the lilac planting action of April 2, 2022, presentation of the current situation regarding refugees from Ukraine and the help offered to them, information on the Buy locally in Dzierżoniów campaign, a proposal organizing a conference for entrepreneurs in Dzierżoniów.
•  May 25, 2022 - the meeting took place at the PSONI Professional Activity Center in Dzierżoniów. The most important topics discussed during the meeting were: information about the goals and the project "Global goals for cities", implemented by the City Hall in Dzierżoniów in partnership with 18 European cities, presentation of the offer and projects carried out by the Manufaktura Inicjatyw Foundation, information from Mr. Tadeusz Skrzypek regarding activities on for people with disabilities, presentation of the current situation regarding refugees from Ukraine and the help offered to them.

• November 23, 2022 - the meeting took place at GE Aviation Dzierżoniów. The most important topics discussed during the meeting were: presenting the act of appointment to the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs - to Mrs. Elżbieta Dzwolak, owner of Elkawa Coffee Palarnia, the Council's work plan for the coming months was discussed, meeting dates were set, launching the next edition of the Competition for the Prettiest Christmas Window, topics for the New Year's Meeting were discussed Business 2023.

• December 16, 2022 - the Christmas meeting of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs was held, which celebrated its third birthday! It was a nice time full of special wishes and summaries. There was a festive atmosphere and plans for joint activities for the next year.

Meetings of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs in 2023

• January 26, 2023 - at the Fitness Club Piękni i Zdrowi Arkadiusz Sutuła at ul. The first meeting of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs in the new year was held at Parkowa 4H, during which the New Year's Business Meeting was summarized and the Council's work plan for 2023 was discussed.
• On February 23, 2023, the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs met at another local entrepreneur. This time it was Ball Playroom. The owner talked about the path to entrepreneurial success, full of various strategic decisions dictated by changing conditions in the business environment. February 23 was also the National Anti-Depression Day. DRP with a daisy symbol pinned on it expressed solidarity with people suffering from depression. During the meeting, changes to the current DRP Regulations were discussed.
• On March 30, 2023, a meeting of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs was held at the Dzierżoniów City Hall, during which the planned participation of DRP in workshops with young people from "Economics" during the Career Days was discussed. The meeting was also attended by a candidate for the Council, who presented herself and familiarized us with her activities. Many current issues related to entrepreneurship were also discussed and ideas on the organization of planned events were exchanged.
• On April 19, 2023, the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs met and worked with young people as part of the District Vocational Forum "School for Employers - Employers for School" at ZS No. 3. Veterans of the Republic of Poland in Dzierżoniów (Economist). The workshop was an interesting event during which all employment-related issues important for future employees were written down. The youth learned about the expectations of employers, and the employers learned about the expectations of students.
• On May 24, 2023, DRP hosted the RYZA School and Office Center in the family company. A well-equipped stationery shop that has been known for years is located at ul. Parkowa 4. During the meeting, the workshops conducted in the Economist were summarized, the rules of work in the Council were discussed, observations were exchanged on the business breakfast organized by the Marshal's Office, and ideas for organizing the Entrepreneur's Day were collected. An act of appointment to the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs was also handed over to Mrs. Julia Daroszewska, owner of the JULIVERSUM company.

• On September 28, 2023, after the summer rest, the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs returned to work with double strength. The September meeting took place in a unique place - Versant Hotel & SPA.
  Versant Hotel & SPA is a beautifully located hotel, elegant banquet halls, but also a place where you can eat tasty and healthy food and relax in the SPA. In the hotel's green garden you will also find a beautiful shelter where you can organize a meeting or a family celebration. The main topic of the meeting was to discuss ideas for organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which falls on November 13-19, 2023.

• On November 30, 2023, the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs visited the headquarters of DOBA.PL. The owners talked about their journalistic work "from the inside". DRP also had the opportunity to see where interesting podcasts are recorded, which can be listened to at any time on the website: www.radiodoba.pl. The work of the DRP team focused on discussing the initiatives submitted as part of the Year of Economic Education and cooperation with Doba.pl in this area.

• On December 14, 2023, a Christmas meeting of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs was held at @Kawiarnia u Lili. The mayor conveyed Christmas and New Year's wishes to DRP. During the meeting, the act of appointment to the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs was also presented to Mr. Jacek Przygoda, representative of GE Aviation. The meeting was honored with a concert by Ms. Dorota Mól from Learning to play the piano "in D minor" by Dorota Mól. The meeting participants had the opportunity to have a nice time, sing carols and taste the specialties of Kawiarnia u Lili.

   

Meetings of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs in 2024

• On January 25, 2024, a meeting of the Dzierżoniów Council of Entrepreneurs was held at the Dzierżoniów City Hall, during which the Council submitted comments on entrepreneurship and summarized the year 2023. The initiatives planned to be submitted by DRP as part of the Year of Economic Education were written down. The meeting was also attended by a candidate for the Council, who presented himself and familiarized us with his activities.
