Investing, Saving, Financial Security. Join Financial Education Day

How can you get started with investing? Can compound interest really help you build wealth? How can you protect your financial well-being and make informed decisions in a world full of financial advice, trends and social media pressure? You will find answers to these and many other questions at the 6th edition of Financial Education Day, taking place on 27 October 2026 at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and online. The event is for everyone who wants to better understand the world of finance, develop their financial skills and plan their future with confidence.

This year’s programme covers a range of topics related to saving, investing and money management. Participants will learn how to build wealth over the long term, protect their finances and make decisions based on knowledge rather than momentary emotions.

Key topics will include:

  • Investing from the Ground Up – how to develop financial knowledge and gain confidence in making your own investment decisions.
  • Compound Interest and Wealth Building – how compound interest works and why taking a long-term approach to personal finance matters.
  • Financial Well-being and Security – how to manage money more effectively, plan expenses and build a stable future.
  • Finance in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – how AI is changing the way we manage our finances and approach investing.
  • Finance and Social Media – how to distinguish reality from the image of financial success portrayed online and manage your personal budget responsibly.
  • Investing in Practice – ETFs, government bonds and ways to make more informed investment decisions.

Financial Education Day is an opportunity to gain practical knowledge, clear up doubts and better prepare for the challenges of everyday financial life.

An important part of the event will be the Youth Zone, designed for secondary school and university students. The programme will feature inspiring talks, a debate on money, pressure and success, as well as financial games offering a practical perspective on personal finance.

A special module has also been prepared for teachers of economics and related subjects. It will focus on economic education and practical investing, providing inspiration and knowledge that teachers can use in their work with students.

The event is aimed both at people who are just starting to explore personal finance and those who want to deepen their existing knowledge. It is an opportunity for school and university students preparing for independent life, people interested in saving and investing, investors looking to expand their expertise, and anyone who wants to manage their household budget more effectively and consciously build their financial future. Teachers seeking new ideas for developing young people's financial literacy will also benefit from the event.

Financial awareness helps us make better decisions at every stage of life. Knowledge of saving, investing and budgeting not only helps us make better use of available opportunities but also enables us to prepare more effectively for unexpected situations.

Participation is free of charge, but advance registration is required. The number of places available for in-person attendance is limited.
