The Wałbrzych Region Fund together with FRW Media Group - Business Environment Institution and the Lower Silesian Economic Portal www.naszbiznes24.pl invite entrepreneurs, local governments and institutions to participate in the Lower Silesian Economic Plebiscite.

The "Business Star" is a distinction for enterprises, local governments, local government units, Business Environment Institutions and other business-related institutions that make a significant contribution to the development of the economy of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and support entrepreneurship. The award is conducive to the promotion, presentation and dissemination of activities and ways to achieve success Entities that strive for constant development by implementing innovative solutions and increasing competitiveness on the market will be distinguished.

The aim of the Plebiscite is to identify the best and most dynamically developing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Socially responsible activities of entities will also be promoted. Institutions supporting entrepreneurs and local governments that take actions aimed at attracting and supporting investors and implementing projects promoting business activity will also be awarded.

Activities undertaken in 2022 will be assessed. The prize is awarded periodically as part of subsequent editions of the Plebiscite.

In this year's edition of "Business Stars", statuettes will be awarded in the following categories:

•     Micro Business
•     Micro Company
•     Small company
•     Medium Company
•     Social Economy Entity
•     Socially Responsible Business
•     Institution
•     Business Friendly Local Government

Candidates, nominees and winners of the Award do not incur any costs related to its receipt, as well as costs related to the organization of the gala and plebiscite, or promotional campaigns conducted by the Organizers.

All winners will be selected on the basis of completed competition questionnaires by the Competition Jury selected by the Competition Organizer from among persons of recognized authority and representatives of companies and institutions promoting entrepreneurship.

Competition questionnaires should be sent by September 17, 2023, at 23:59

The Awards will be presented at the "Business Stars 2023" Final Gala on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 19:00 at the Old Mine Science and Art Center in Wałbrzych.
